In 2013, we had the unique opportunity to partner with the owner of a stunning custom residence in our hometown of Arcadia, California. The client envisioned adding upholstered wall paneling to elevate the ambiance and acoustics of the home’s private theater room. The wall panels were designed to serve a dual purpose: enhancing the room’s sound insulation while bringing a rich, luxurious visual texture to the space.

For this bespoke project, we meticulously crafted and tufted over 3,000 velvet-covered buttons—each one carefully placed to achieve a classic, refined finish. The installation process spanned a little over three weeks, during which our team worked with precision to ensure each panel fit seamlessly. Special attention was given to functional details such as making precise cutouts for electrical outlets, switches, and built-in lighting, preserving the usability of the space while delivering a visually flawless result.

The finished room exudes comfort and sophistication—perfect for an immersive cinematic experience at home.
